Patrick J. Fenech is a mid-career artist and educator working mainly in photography, video and installation art. He graduated in photography in Milan after being awarded a scholarship by the Italian Cultural Institute. Works mainly freelance from his studio in Malta. Invited by the University of Malta to lecture photography in the Faculty of Arts and Languages and the Faculty of Architecture for the past five years and is currently researching in photographic archives to set up a Museum of Photography in Malta. Patrick was invited to conduct a series of photography workshops for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue' in 2008 an EU funded project which culminated in his first curate photography exhibition “Pictures in My Mind.”He was also invited by the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts to curate the visual arts summer festival for 2009. Exhibited works in major cities : New York, Boston, Beijing, Moscow, Paris, Arles, Venice, Florence, Hamburg and Izmir.
